Investigations for compound feeds

High demands are placed on feedstuffs for the optimum supply of livestock. In addition to an adequate supply of crude nutrients and the required energy content, the need for minerals and amino acids must also be met.

In addition to the value-determining ingredients, the focus is also on freedom from harmful substances. Undesirable substances in this context include dioxins, mold toxins (mycotoxins) and heavy metals such as cadmium and lead.

Extract from our services for compound feeds

We examine compound feeds for poultry, horses, dairy cattle, pigs, as well as mineral feeds for these parameters:

  • basic chemical analysis: crude ash, crude protein, crude fiber, crude fat, energy content
  • vitamins and minerals
  • contaminants and residues: dioxins, mycotoxins, PAH, PCB, pesticide residues, heavy metals
  • Screening, identification and quantification of genetically modified organisms (GMOs)
  • Unauthorized substances: including antibiotics that are no longer authorized
  • Coccidiostats
  • Prohibited substances: among others animal components in ruminant feeds
  • Microbiological tests
  • Amino acid composition: We carry out the determination of amino acids according to the classical methods according to VO(EG) 152/2009 and VDLUFA. Highly efficient own methods complete the profile.
    • Amino acids that can be determined: alanine, arginine, asparagine, aspartic acid, cyst(e)in, gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA), glutamine, glutamic acid, glycine, histidine, hydroxylysine, hydroxyproline, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, ornithine, phenylalanine, proline, serine, taurine, threonine, tryptophan, tyrosine, valine.
